Gone but Never Forgotten

This blog entry is dedicated to my dad up in Heaven, George Grant Jr.

These pictures are a little different. I lost my dad nine years ago to cancer. He was my best friend so it hit me hard. Although he never got to meet my husband or my three kids I try my best to make sure they know the man that he was. My kids will always know that they have a Grandpa up in Heaven!

My dad fought in the Vietnam War so at his funeral my sister and I were presented a flag. The flag is now my most prized possesion. I got brainstorming a couple of days ago about how nice it would be to take some pictures of the flag with my youngest son, my other two want nothing to do with pictures! lol.

Pumpkin Fun!

This was a photoshoot with my sisters kids. We went to a favorite place of ours and did the photos there! It was nice with all of the pumpkins they had and the barn as a background always looks awesome!

My niece is always a great model and my nephew wanted nothing to do with the pictures

but we still got some awesome shots!

Rob and Lisa's Engagement Shoot

This was a really fun photo shoot. Rob and Lisa were both great to work with and were such a sweet couple. The weather was a little chilly but nothing unusual for fall in upstate NY!

The fall colors looked amazing and we got some really nice shots!

Contest 2

This is the second contest that I have done on my facebook page. This one was a little different from the last one. This time I asked people that "like" my facebook page to post a "fall" picture, it could be of anything. After all of the pictures were submitted I uploaded all of them to a contest folder and let the "fans" of the page vote on their favorite.

My New Project!

So I have decided to restore a bunch of pictures! My husbands father was going through his old photo albums and wanted my husband to bring them home to me so he could show me the pictures from his childhood and his dads childhood. Well since a lot of them are in rough shape, they are many years old, I was like what if I restored some of these and put them in a new photo album or scrapbook for him for Christmas as a nice surprise. My husband loved the idea so thats my new project!

I have three boys, my oldest is 5 years old

and then my middle one is 3 years old

and the baby is 10 months old.

I went to our local fair and found these adorable little baby animals in a barn!

I had to take some pictures of them!
